Thermal(Heat) transfer processing (stamping) is a special kind of printing process, although its working principle is simple, the pressure using silicon rubber rolls will spend on the membranes of the graphic by heating transfer to the substrate. However, in the concrete practice of production, to improve the quality of the products and efficiency, needs to note the followings:
BASIC NOTES : Keep the substrates dry, clean, grease-free and, transfer the artworks under the condition of ;
- Temperature : 150~200 ° C
- Speed : 0.4~1.0sec/pcs
- Pressure: 20~30kg/cm²
** Basic conditions are adjustable according to the materials of the substrates
- Clean working environment is required for high quality production.
(1) Make sure the operating machines are clean, not stained with dust, debris, oil or dirt;
(2) To keep clean to spend the heat transfer printing films, should not be infected with smeary, fingerprints, dust, etc.;
(3) To keep the glue head clean, should not have dirt, glue adhesive on it;
(4) The operator’s hand to be kept clean, should not have the sweat, smeary stick to spent membrane or be hot;
(5) To keep stay printed items clean, should not have dust, fingerprints, grease, etc.;
2.This hot stamping temperature:
Hot stamping temperature according to the hot stamping equipment, hot printing film, hot stamping, and hot stamping area temperatures of different and different, do not blindly pursue the higher the temperature of the hot stamping or (the lower the better), should be in after the stamping as a benchmark to determine the effect of hot stamping temperature, general stamping temperature between 170 ℃ to 240 ℃.
Customer supplies AI, PDF, PSD or CDR format artwork for making plate cylinders, please kindly note that JPG format files can not be used for color analysis by our engineers or making plate cylinders.
Upon receiving the artworks and substrate samples from the customers, our designers modify the artworks to fit for the printing, and get customer’s confirmation by sending the modified artworks to customer by e-mail.
We make plate printing cylinders according to the layout confirmation file.
Once getting the confirmation of the designs from the customers, we make the sample film to get the approval from the customers.
Print the artwork(design) on the PET film by using our unique chemicals & inks or in mold label according to the layout confirmation file and VST quality control process, pack the printed film rolls.
Forward the goods out to the required destination place as agreed.

Supplying type: Roll on 1~3” core or sheet
First of all, we coat the PET film with one layer of release agent.
Print the tailored artworks on the film according to the confirmed pre-printing file, samples or special panton no as requirement. In this process, we coat one layer of glue to the film, what types of glue to be used for film is depending on the material of the substrate on which customer wants to transfer the design.
The printed film will be left in a solidified room to make the ink and glue solidification for more than 24 hours. This room will be under certain temperature and humidity.
The preliminary inspection
Quality inspection is applied to every batch of printing. Color match checking and actual heat transfer process onto same material as customer products to confirm the release and glue feature to avoid quality accident in the following production process in the warehouse of customer.
Slitting or Die cutting and Winding
This process is to slitting the big rolls into the height for customer using and winding as required by customers or die-cutting for IML customer also
With experienced quality control staffs, each single meter of printing is inspected. All defective printing will be removed from the actual printing to ensure the quality of the print you get in hand.
Each printed film roll will be marked product identification (order number, plate number, the number of meters, customer name) and wrap vinyl coverage and put into carton boxes. The cartons also will be marked carton identification (plate no, rolls quantity, date, customer name). If there is only one or two cartons of your order. If there are many cartons, dozen of cartons will be packed by pallet, then wrapped by preservative film and packing belt. Pallet ,preservative film and packing belt may protect your film very well and keep the film in good quality in transportation.
